Guided Tours to the
Submarine Dandolo
Recently reopened to the public, the Submarine Enrico Dandolo can be visited only with a guided tour by reservation. Built in the 1960s, it was one of Italy’s first postwar submarines, a silent hunter of the Cold War seas.
Walking through its narrow spaces – control room, torpedo launch chamber, crew quarters – you will discover stories of life on board, technology, and missions beneath the waves.
Arsenale
Guided Tours
The Submarine Enrico Dandolo tour also includes the Arsenale, once the beating heart of Venice’s naval power. Here, amid docks, workshops and monumental gates, thousands of arsenalotti built galleys and ships in secrecy.
With the audioguide, their voices bring back the glory of the Serenissima.
